About

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, You’re As Welcome As Can Be!  Welcome to VisitMickey.net! Thanks for stopping by.

In January of 2005, my family had just returned from a picture percent Christmas Week Disney World vacation with our then 4 1/2 and almost 3 year old sons. It was the 4th and 3rd trip for our children and they loved every minute of it! I brought photos to a play group meeting to share with other moms who were planning their own trips. Most of our group had either recently traveled or were planning trips to Disney World. One of the mom’s commented that we must not have seen much given the crowds. She was shocked that I said the crowds didn’t phase us at all! We didn’t wait more than 15 minutes for anything and we saw everything we wanted to see. It turns out we spent less on our vacation during Disney’s busiest week all year than other families spentnduring “value season.” After that, I helped other playgroup families plan their vacations and it became a game of how much could we, as a group of moms with preschool age kids, collectively save on our Disney vacations and who would spend the least amount of time standing in lines while on vacations! When I stared getting phone calls from friends of friends asking for help, Magical Memories Travel was born! Magical Memories Travel specializes in Disney Destinations. Disney vacations make up about 95% of our business.

I officially began working as a Disney Vacation Specialist in late 2005 with the goal of helping families plan an affordable Disney vacation without skimping on the magic. Since 2005 a lot has changed in the ways to get the most value for your vacation dollar at Disney World, but one thing remains the same, a little advanced planning goes a long way and a lot of advanced planning makes all the difference in the world!

The amount of information available out there on planning a Disney vacation can be dizzying! Much of it is outdated or is unfairly biased in favor of the options that are the authors favorites, or even worse, options that can be considered profitable to the author. It is easy to get bogged down and stressed out with all of that information. That is where I can help.

It is my goal to help you plan the ideal vacation for your family’s individual interests, hopes, dreams and budget. I want to take care of the details and let you enjoy the fun and magic of your vacation. Enjoy the time with your family and building memories you will treasure for a lifetime knowing that all of the details are taken care of and that you got the best possible value for your vacation dollar.

I am a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge but more importantly, my expertise comes from personal experience! I have visited Walt Disney World, Disneyland and sailed multiple times on Disney Cruise Line. In

While Magical Memories Travel is based in Kennesaw, Georgia, we work with guests from around the globe. Magical Memories Travel has now grown to include agents from other areas around the country as well. You can request a specific agent, or a quote from the first available agent. You will work one on one with a vacation specialist and will have a direct local number, a toll-free voice mail number and an email address to contact your agent directly at any time.

I am proud to say that Magical Memories Travel has been “EarMarked” by Disney as an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner for the 4th year in a row now. Disney provides this designation to fewer than 15% of travel agencies nationwide. It is a distinction that recognizes agencies with specialized experience and expertise in planning Disney vacation, with a particular affinity for the Disney brand and share their commitment to superior guest service.

I hope you will check back often for Disney news, special offers and vacation planning tips!

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
We’re planning on visiting my mom in FL this summer and would like to incorporate a few days at Disney World while we’re there. I’ll be back here when we start planning! I have a toddler and a 13 y.o., so we want to make sure we get enough Disney in for BOTH of them!

    • Hi! I just checked out your blog and had to comment on the post about putting coins on the train tracks. My 4 year old is obsessed with trains and I was just telling him about how I used to do that as a girl!

      Thanks for stopping by!
